Notch Estates Home Owners Association, Inc. RULES, REGULATIONS, AND GUIDELINES

1. Speed Limit is 20 M.P.H. maximum.
2. Pets must be kept on a leash. Pet droppings on Association property must be picked up by the owner. (Please refer to the Pet Policy.) NOTE: Renters are not allowed to have pets of any kind.
3. Loud noises that can be a nuisance to other units are forbidden, e.g. music, electronics, yelling, dog barking, etc. Quiet Time is from 10:00 P.M. – 8:00 A.M. Quiet Time for repairs and remodeling is from 800 P.M. – 8:00 A.M. Violations will result in a fine being assessed to the Owner in the amount of $100.00 per incident. Nuisance noise will result in a “warning.” Each subsequent occurrence will result in a fine of $100.00.
4. No antennas or satellite dishes may be placed on the exterior of Association buildings or on any other common element.
5. Place trash inside the appropriate dumpsters provided by the Association. Trash containers are not permitted on the front or back decks.
6. Decks (front and back) are to be kept tidy and uncluttered. This for the enjoyment of all. Decks (front and back) along with other Common Areas are to be kept tidy and uncluttered. This is for the enjoyment of neighboring owners who share the Common area, and to maintain the overall appearance of Notch Estates. No hanging of laundry on the decks.
7. Do not cause or allow debris to fall to the deck below.
8. By Order Of Fire Marshall: ALL cooking, including charcoal, gas, or electric is strictly prohibited on the decks.
9. Bicycles are to be properly placed in a bicycle rack furnished by the Association. They must be in working order (no flat tires, etc.)
10. Reflective materials such as aluminum foil or mirrors may not be placed in or on the windows.
11. No profanity shall be used against any Notch Estates representative or homeowner.
12. Boats, trailers, RV’s, etc. must be kept in the area specified for temporary parking. No permanent storage of boats or recreational vehicles will be allowed by anyone other than those in permanent residence.
13. No vehicle maintenance shall be performed in the Association complex. Vehicles must be in working order, and with current license and insurance. Trucks larger than one (1) ton are not permitted, other than contracted or service vehicles. Vehicles not moved after thirty (30) days will be removed at owner’s expense. Unsightly vehicles, as determined by the Manager and/or The Board of Directors, will not be allowed.
14. Any property owners, monthly renters, or nightly renters who cause damage to common elements will be held monetarily responsible for the repair of said damage.
15. The discharge of fireworks is strictly prohibited within the boundaries of Notch Estates.
16. The discharge of any type of firearm or explosive device is strictly prohibited within the boundaries of Notch Estates.
17. The operation of any type of motorized vehicle is prohibited on foot paths, nature trails, and in the vicinity of the lake (except by maintenance personnel).
18. The operation of any All-Terrain Vehicle is prohibited within the boundaries of Notch Estates (except by maintenance personnel).
19. VIOLATION of any of these rules may result in a minimum fine of $100.00. This may be a re-occurring fine if violation continues. NOTICE: Also see PET RULES and POOL AND PAVILLION RULES.

Notch Estates Homeowners Association, Inc. Rules for POOL AND PAVILLION/SHELTER
Revised 9/28/19
1. Pool Hours – The pools are open 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM, approximately Memorial Day through Labor Day. Pools are closed: (1) 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM, (2) for cleaning and/or maintenance, and (3) during thunderstorms.
2. Only Notch Estates owners and renters and their guests are authorized to use the pool and shelter facilities. All others will be considered trespassing.
3. Pool privileges can be revoked for violations of the Pool Rules.
4. Pool privileges will be suspended for any non-payment of any fines incurred by renters or owners.
5. All swimming is at “YOUR OWN RISK.” There are NO Lifeguards on duty.
6. These are small pools. Floating toys are limited to small items such as noodles and small rafts (not to exceed 3’ X 6’).
7. No glass containers are allowed in the pool areas.
8. No food or alcohol is allowed in the pool areas.
9. No chewing gum is allowed in the pool areas.
10. No boisterous activity, loud music, or foul language are allowed in the pool areas, the shelters, or playgrounds. (Reference #5 on HOA Rules, Regulations, and Guidelines.)
11. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years old.
12. SHELTERS can be used on a first-come first-served basis unless they have been reserved by another party. POOLS may not be reserved.
13. Reservations for shelters may be made through the Notch Estates Manager at 417-338- 0988.
14. Owners and renters may reserve the pavilions/shelters. The owner or resident must be present during use.
15. Shelters must be left clean. A $30.00 fee will be charged to the user if left unclean.

Lake Rules

Notch Estate has a 5 acre lake stocked with fish. This lake is for owners and guest of Notch Estates (Branson HideAway). Please enjoy but remember these rules.

  • No Swimming or wading.
  • No fires of any kind.
  • Catch and release only when fishing.
  • Lake trail closes at sundown.
  • Children under 12 must be with adult.
  • Please remove all trash.

Remember, this is a deep trail, and may be difficult to travel. Notch Estates/Branson HideAway is not responsible for injuries or accidents.
