Mexican: Tequilas Mexican Restaurant Make sure it doesn’t say Tequilas 2 or you will end up in the wait and traffic of downtown Branson. This is the same restaurant/menu, but it’s the original location. Pro tip: if there’s a long wait, you can go behind the hostess stand to the left, and there are stairs that lead down to the bar area. Breakfast: Billy Gail’s is within 10 minutes (very busy on weekends), Typically long waits but GREAT atmosphere. One pancake is large enough for 4 people to eat. 5291 State Hwy 265, Branson, MO 65616

Breakfast: Steamy Joe’s Cafe has an amazing view of the mountains and The Strip, only 5 minutes away. Specializes in breakfast, homemade baked goods and desserts, and a variety of coffee. Pro tip: when you walk inside the cafe, before the main counter on the left, there is a whiteboard with the daily specials on it. Sometimes they include a drink and meal for a very low cost, so it’s always worth checking. Throughout the week, it is common to see the performers there as this is the hang-out spot for much of the talent in Branson.

Breakfast: Indian Point Floating Café is a floating restaurant attached to boat docks. They sell turtle food at the counter, and you can feed the turtles off the docks. 3443 Indian Point Rd, Branson, MO 65616

Pizza: Mr. Gilberti’s is located at 1451 Acacia Club Road, Hollister, Missouri 65672, established in the 90’s, this original Chicago-style pizzeria, that Mr. Gilberti created after 64 years of making pizza. Now owned by one of his original chefs, this has become a staple for locals.

Pizza: Mr. G’s Chicago-style pizza, located at 202 1/2 North Commercial Street, Branson, MO 65616. Located down near The Landing, there is a big debate among the locals about whose pizza is better — Mr. G’s or Mr. Gilberti’s….you be the judge.
