Tip #1 – Save Money on Tickets for Shows and Attractions

Go to the Purple Building, Branson 2 for 1 Tickets, there’s two locations: 1100 W 76 Country Blvd, Branson, MO 65616 and 620 State HWY 165, Branson, MO 65616

You can purchase discounted tickets for most shows and attractions in Branson except “Dolly Parton’s Stampede” and “Sight & Sound” shows

They list a brand new price sheet with their discounted tickets every day. Seating is done by the individual theaters, so you will need to go to the theater to reserve seating.

Once you buy your tickets at Branson 2 for 1 Tickets, we recommend that you visit the theater on the same day to reserve your seats. This will ensure that you have the best selection of seats available. We also suggest purchasing tickets for future shows to make sure you get the best seats for your next visit to Branson.

Tip #3 – Silver Dollar City Season Pass Discount

You can expect to spend around $70 for a season ticket. That’s right. Purchase your normal ticket, then look for the window (see images below) as you leave the park. This is the only place in the park where you can do this (it is not available online or by phone). Give them your ticket from that day and pay $60, and…if you go before Halloween, you will get the rest of the season. If after Halloween, you will get NEXT YEAR’S season pass for $50!

Tip #4 – Silver Dollar City – Avoid the Crowds

To avoid the crowds, visit the park in the spring, fall, or winter. Sundays are the least crowded because most guests are either arriving in town or checking out. This is a great way to experience Silver Dollar City during the Christmas-time festivities without having to deal with large crowds.

Tip #5 – Silver Dollar City – Bring Your Own Food

You can bring your own cooler with food and drinks. Just avoid glass containers and alcoholic beverages. It’s a good way to save money while you’re visiting the park.

Tip #6 – Branson Strip – Avoid Traffic

This is the difference between a local and a tourist. Get your local advantage. When going to see a show or event, there is a road that runs behind the shows. Drive down that and then turn up the side street at the event you want to visit. BAM!!!! You just saved tons of time.

Tip #7 – White Water – Avoid the Crowds and Save Money

We recommend that you arrive early when it opens at 10:00am, then go to the right-hand side of the park, which will be where the longest line starts.

To avoid the long lines for rides, try this:

  • Go on Ohana Falls first. This ride can fit the whole family.

  • Next, go on Kulani Towers Mat Racer and the other large rides.

  • Then move on to the other side of the park and go float in the Aloha River and the Wave Pool.

  • To save your spot by the Wave Pool, you can put your towels on the chairs, and then head back to go on the large rides again. They should have shorter lines by that time.

To save money on food:

You can bring in snacks and your own water bottles (but you’re not allowed to bring sandwiches!)

If you want to pack a lunch to bring with you, they have a picnic area outside the front gate of the park. You can exit and re-enter the park with your ticket.
